This project involved redesigning and migrating the site over to a WordPress based site. The new design was already done, my job was develop a customized theme. The Thesis theme was used as a starting point for this site and from there I built custom functions, layouts and pages on top of it. In addition, the client wanted the ability to update hundreds of links as needed. As a result, I developed a customized admin section that allowed the client to update links via a MySQL database. I also wrote a function that attached the links to shortcodes that were placed in the pages themselves. Thus, no matter what the actual URL is, the shortcode remains the same.
