As I began the process of moving the PA Cycling website over to WordPress, it was decided that the cyclocross series (PACX), needed it’s own sub site. I developed a custom WordPress theme for the site and used a straightforward layout to make it user friendly. The biggest advantage to the new site was a  custom plug-in for the admin section that allows for a one-click upload of race results that scores them, puts the info in a MySQL database and returns the appropriate shortcode to display the results in a post or on a page. This cut down tremendously on the time it took to publish and score results as well as allowed for easy integration into the rest of the site.
